I had the tremendous opportunity to attend my first ever GDC! It was from March 9-13, and I managed 3 days of it! It was a lot to take in. I made new friends, played a bunch of games, attended talks, met an incredible amount of cool people, saw amazing technology, and enjoyed a whole lot of sunshine! I finally got to try some motion capture! This particular company had cameras and software, so I did not have to put on a motion-capture suit.
A big thanks for the folks at Black Voices in Gaming! This could not have happened without you! Some of you I got to see in person for the first time, and interacting was a great experience! The words thank you are not enough to express my gratitude.

I attended one of the legal talks, and after interacting with lawyers online for so long, I was fortunate to meet some of them in person! It was wonderful to see them in person and passionately talk about this ever growing and changing video game landscape and how it crosses with legal rules. It may not be the most exciting part of video games, but it is an important part.
One day I will have to attend the entire week. Until next time!
